The Vivid Minds Cafe patio is the largest outdoor café space in the Baker neighborhood. 1,200 square feet of astroturf seating with free WiFi extending from the interior out to the full patio. There is no application to bring your dog. No waitlist. No small print. Walk in, order at the bar on the upper level, and take your dog and your drink to the patio. Saturdays and Sundays are the most popular times for dogs on the patio. Weekday mornings before 10am are the quietest if your dog prefers less activity around them.
What to Order When You Come with Your Dog
The matcha flight is the most popular outdoor patio order at Vivid Minds Cafe. Four ceremonial matcha tea lattes for $14, take them to the turf, spend an hour and a half. The functional mushroom acai bowls are the food order that turns a café visit into a full morning. The Awakening with Lion’s Mane or The Electric Blue with blue spirulina give you something genuinely worth eating while your dog settles in. The Cosmic Coconut Cloud smoothie is the drink for the warm Denver morning when coffee feels like the wrong direction and you want something cold and blue and excellent.
The Building
Vivid Minds Cafe is the Planetarium Blue building at 1545 S Broadway Denver CO 80210 in the Baker neighborhood. The café is on the upper level. Vivid Minds Wellness, one of Colorado’s first licensed psilocybin healing centers, is on the lower level. Walk in through the main entrance, order at the bar, and head through to the patio out the back. The patio is accessible from inside the café. Dogs stay on the patio.
Patio Hours and Access
The outdoor patio is open every day from 7:30am to 4pm, the same hours as the café. No reservation required for regular seating. Private patio bookings for groups and events can be arranged by contacting admin@vividmindscafe.com.
